Target Freight Management Inc. (TFM) is a well-established and rapidly growing third party logistics company headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA. We are seeking to fill a Web Developer position.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The Web Developer will develop, maintain, and support. TFM software applications and other custom solutions. Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Respond to and resolve software related help desk tickets
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
Understand and use multiple programming languages to code
Review and test code submissions from other developer on the teams
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Writing test cases for new and existing functionality
All other duties assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on web development experience required
Experience using AI coding tools to assist with the development and testing
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of both customer and carrier’s organizations
Proven working experience in web programming
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
Experience with web-based programming languages such as PHP (preferred) or Python
Experience with ReactJS or comparable front end frameworks
Strong knowledge of relational database design, optimization, and SQL
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Working knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development
Ability to effectively diagnose application problems and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
Familiarity with automated back end testing tools such as PHPUnit
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
Effective communication skills are a must, as you will be expected to work with other team members not related to the IT department to work through fixes and enhancements on the site
